Code:631

This is a new barrier-free guest ranch in Arizona! The owners/hosts, along with their, invite you to try this new and unique

guest ranch! They welcome all travelers to come and experience their dude ranch where the Old West blends with the new.

The overnight stay at this dude ranch includes all meals (home cooked to perfection), horseback riding and other ranch

activities. The horseback riding program varies from slow and scenic, to challenging mountain rides and advanced loping

rides in sandy washes. There are also all-day rides, breakfast rides and specialty rides along with an occasional "treasure

hunt ride". Cookouts are common and evening entertainment will provided on many nights. There is an accessible swimming

pool and a variety of game options such as ping pong, basketball, billiards and horseshoes. The main focus is the horseback

riding program as well as the peace and quiet of the beautiful desert and mountain scenery. To go along with the wonderful

scenery that this location provides, it also has an almost, not too hot and not too cold, for horseback riding and doing all of

the other fun activities.

In addition to offering a completely barrier free vacation, this ranch offers many opportunities for disabled and able-bodied

guests but especially riding. The ranch has an arena so that they can offer supervised rides in an enclosed environment to

their younger and more physically challenged guests who are unable to go out on the trails but still want the horseback riding

experience. During that time, families of the disabled or children are welcome to take a trail ride of their own.

Features for disabled guests:

The main strength of this ranch is its unique ability to offer a completely barrier- vacation to all disabled travelers and their

families. The uniqueness they offering their guests over other dude ranches, is that they are completely handicapped

accessible -- this is the first of its kind. The ranch is easily handicapped accessible both inside and out. All guest rooms,

bathrooms, lodge and dining areas were built with the disabled concerns in mind. They took extra care to assure there are

no barriers anywhere at the ranch. The guest rooms and bathrooms are larger than the current accessibility codes call for

and the lodge and dining room have plenty of room for wheelchairs to move about freely. They also provide accessible riding

equipment so that everyone has the ability to participate in the riding program if they so desire. The disabled guests can

choose to experience a ride in the desert or a ride in the arena depending on their ability. All riders will be tested thoroughly

before riding to assure safety. It is a proven fact that horses are very therapeutic to the disabled. The ranch family wants to

enhance this fact by giving them, along with their families, the opportunity to enjoy not only the horses, but also the great

outdoors without any barriers. The swimming pool was also built with wheelchair accessibility in mind. The go-karts are

two-seater so that the non-horseback riding guest can still enjoy the beautiful trails and scenery. The owners created the
