WELCOME HOME! - is how folks feel when they arrive at this ranch. It’s a family run working cattle and horse ranch, where

guests become part of the family. You can do as much or as little as you want! From spring branding and local rodeos, fence

checking, pasture-rotating cattle drives, to soaking in the hot tub, or relaxing on the wrap-around verandah overlooking the

stream and the valley. You can do as much with your horse as you desire - groom, tack up, and general care. You might

even try bareback riding! The cowboys will share some horsemanship tips with you in the corral, then it's off to check on

the spring calves, perhaps move the herd to a new pasture, sort cow-calf pairs, help brand cattle, take a ride in the woods,

or play a few games on horseback - definitely not your standard "head to tail" riding here. Whether you're experienced or a

novice, everyone can have fun.

The owner offers you a lifetime of horse sense and riding experience. He and the wranglers will demonstrate whatever you

need - from the simple basics to the finesse of riding with no bridle. You will be encouraged by his talent, patience, and

helpful instruction. If you're a new, nervous, or an unsure rider, he and the wranglers can help you - just as they have

helped hundreds of others! The key is simply learning effective groundwork to promote confidence for you and your horse!

The riding is generally two hours in the morning and two to three hours in the afternoon with LOTS of horsemanship tips,

playing games on horseback and fun cattle work. Hands on with horses is encouraged as guests tack up and groom and

feed their own horses.
