Hawaii in Arizona? Let us take you to the breathtaking waterfalls and lush scenery of Arizona’s Havasu Canyon, nestled

deep in the western end of Grand Canyon, featuring cobalt-blue pools, waterfalls, and sheer canyon walls. Different

package are offered to suite your interests, fitness level, and time schedule.

Ultimate Hike 4/5 Day

Day 1: Departing at 2:00pm your guides will drive you to the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. Along the way there will be a brief

stop for a meal.

Day 2: After breakfast (6:00am) and a short drive to the trailhead your gear will be loaded onto horses and you will begin

your descent into the Canyon on foot. Carrying only a light daypack you will arrive in the Indian village of Supai by noon.

There you can rest, get a drink or a snack while the guides check in with the tribe. An easy 2-mile hike from the village takes

you down a narrow canyon, past awe-inspiring waterfalls and into base camp. The remainder of the day will be spent

exploring, swimming, and taking a dip in the waterfall. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. If you feel up to it, your guides will

lead you on a night time excursion into the caves which cut deep into the canyon walls.

Day 3: You wake up to paradise; nowhere is the more beautiful than Havasu Canyon in the morning. After breakfast you will

embark on the most astounding hike/swim of your life. You will descend through a myriad of waterfalls, grottos, and lush

grapevines, all beneath towering red limestone cliffs. Cool off under natural showers or relax in your own private natural

jacuzzi. Those not feeling as adventurous can relax at Mooney Falls, read a book, or explore at their leisure. Your guides

will show you the most spectacular and hidden locations. After dinner explore caves deep in the canyon walls and

stargaze.

Day 3a: On the five day program experience another day exploring the wonders of the canyon.

Day 4: Breakfast is followed by another exciting morning of hiking and exploring. A hike to the esplanade gives a bird’s eye

view of the oasis in which you have spent the previous two days. Finally you board a helicopter for your flight out of the

canyon. By 2:00pm you will be at the trailhead. From there you will return to Phoenix at the group’s leisure, arriving between

6:00pm and 8:00pm.

Native Cultures and Natural History

Experienced adventure travelers know that fulfilling experiences go far beyond beautiful vistas. Educational experiences

create even more lasting memories and gratification. On this tour you will visit and interact with the members of the most

remote Native American village in the U.S. Nestled in the bottom of the Grand Canyon, 145-miles from the closest grocery

store, the mail still arrives by packhorse. Learn of their struggles, belief systems, history and daily lives. Experience a

blessing ceremony, sweat lodge, native dances and songs, and a traditional meal. Time will be spent exploring and visiting

the waterfalls, but this tour focuses on the unique geology, flora fauna, and natural history of the Grand Canyon, plus the

fascinating culture of the Havasupai ("People of the Blue-Green Water")

you conquered the Grand Canyon! Canyon Adventurers often get to make the most spectacular hike in North America - from
