River Rafting
Code:281

The Middle and North Forks of the Flathead River make up the western border of Glacier National Park, and offering serenity

amidst spectacular scenery. All half and full day trips are run on the Middle Fork, which offers a variety of class two and

three rapids in the John Stevens Canyon. These intermediate rapids are fun and splashy, but never dangerous! Depending

on the raft you can either sit back, relax and take in all the scenery as the guide propels and maneuvers the raft down the

river, or you can take part in the action. Following the simple commands of the guide, you actually become part of the crew.

The full-day raft trip starts out "easy" in the morning, floating down the river in breathtakingly beautiful scenery, while in the

afternoon you better "hold on" when shooting down the rapids! The half-day trip takes you down the last 8 miles (=12,8 km)

of the river, the full-day trip is almost twice as long, including the more "quiet" upper part of the river.
