With more than 30 lifts, 150 trails and 3,500 acres of skiable terrain, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is a popular winter

playground. From the top of its 11,053-foot summit to its almost 8,000-foot base, Mammoth is considered to be one of the

finest Alpine skiing mountains in the world. Mammoth boasts a vertical drop of 3,100 feet, with its longest trail running more

than 2.5 miles. Snowboard Park with half pipe is now available, plus night skiing on weekends. A short 20-minute drive north

of Mammoth Lakes brings you to June Mountain, a first-rate ski mountain with a variety of terrain that will challenge expert to

beginner. Steep bowls and chutes, gentle-yet-challenging intermediate runs, and wide open beginner runs are part of the

resort’s eight lifts, 35 trails and 500 acres of skiable terrain. Annual snowfall averages 21 feet (250 inches.).



Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, one of the country's largest, is located just five miles from town.

June Mountain Ski Area is located approximately 20 miles from the town of Mammoth Lakes in June Lake. A free shuttle

service provided by Mammoth Mountain Ski Area provides transportation between the ski area and the town of Mammoth

Lakes during the winter months

Shuttle service available from Reno Airport to Mammoth Lakes. Rate between $150 (1 person) and$60 (4 + person) per

person, one way, depending on amount of passengers in shuttle. Shuttle service will try to have more than one person going

so there might be a wait before departure. Shuttle needs to be prearranged through A4Y.
