Big air. Deep powder. Legendary steeps. Natural highs. Lake Tahoe is a snowsporters dream. It has North America’s largest

concentration of world-class ski resorts, and enough downhill and cross-country variety to show even the heartiest skier or

boarder something new every day. Skiers can hit the slopes on one of the 182 ski trails in the midst of more than 8,800 total

ski resort acres. The longest ski run in the area is 5.5 miles long. Lake Tahoe's greatest vertical drop is 3,600 feet. Both runs

are at Heavenly. Famous neighbors include and have included Charles Bronson, Cher, Natalie Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Liza

Minelli, Wayne Newton and the Captain and Tennile. For nearly 50 years visitors have been drawn to Tahoe's winter scene.

From epic and extreme terrain to fabulous first-timers programs, there's something for everyone at Lake Tahoe. Ski shuttles

can enable you to catch multiple resorts, there's even a boat cruise/shuttle from South Shore to North Shore. Often, skiing

lasts into May and June!



The Interchangeable lift ticket may be redeemed at these Lake Tahoe area resorts: Heavenly, Alpine Meadows, Kirkwood,

Northstar at Tahoe, Sierra at Tahoe and Squaw Valley.



We recommend a rental car in order to get around.



Heavenly (Reno, Nevada - 45 minutes San Francisco, CA - 4 hours)": Heavenly is a big mountain, sprawling over 4,800

acres, two states (California and Nevada) and nine mountain peaks! Heavenly offers snowboarding on 100% of the

mountain .Most seasons, the resort will offer three snowboard parks, and a super pipe later in the season. Several terrain

features are also constructed regularly on the mountain, including spines, rolls, flat-tops, and the country's first triple-level

fun box. The ski area is close to the village of South Lake Tahoe, at the border of California and Nevada. With the casinos

and nightlife offered on the Nevada side you can combine greeat skiing with great nightlife and after-hour fun. The slopes of

Heavenly offer a breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe. Experienced skiiers will find their trill in the "Milky Way Bowl" and

"Killbrew Canyon).

Triple chair, 5 Double chairs, 1 "Magic Carpet" children's surface lift, 1 Tubing surface tow, 1 Children's surface tow.

Squaw Valley: Spread over six peaks, and accessed by the most advanced lift system in the world,this world-class

destination resort enjoys an annual snowfall of over 450 inches (that's 37.5 feet), and an abundance of warm California

sunshine nearly 300 days of the year. With its immense size, variety of terrain, abundance of activities, exciting events and

its Olympic heritage it offer one unique experience after another for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. While the heart

stopping advanced and expert terrain is featured regularly in ski and snowboard magazines and movies, many guests don't

realize that 70% of the mountain's terrain is geared for the beginner and intermediate skier and snowboarder! Wide open

bowls, carefully groomed boulevards, steep chutes, glades, terrain parks and half pipes are all part of the fun to be had

Shuttle service available from Reno. Round trip approx. $34 for adults, children 12 years and under free. First shuttle leaves

Reno airport at 6:15am, then 8:15am to 3:15pm every hour. 5;30pm to 9:30pm every 2 hours, 10:30 pm & 12:30am.

Departures provide from Lakeside Inn, Horizon, Harvey's, Embassy Suites, Harrah's & Caesars, South Lake Tahoe. You can

catch the shuttle from those hotels back to the airport. Driving time between 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on hotel. Shuttle
